The Netherlands

SEHAQ is a refugee-led collective that raises awareness, hosts community events, and creates safer spaces for LGBTQIA+ asylum seekers, refugees and undocumented people in the Netherlands. It is also a party space for Amsterdam's queer refugees and serves as a support network. It also aims to make male-dominated queer and migrant spaces more inclusive. They group organises both closed meetings for queer refugees only and open meetings that allies are welcome to attend. This grant will allow the group to subsidise the travel costs to meetings for refugees living outside of Amsterdam.
