Refugee Sisters

The goal and mission of Refugee Sisters* are to provide expert counseling, psychosocial support, guidance, and empowerment to queer women, inter* and trans* individuals who have been affected by global forced displacement and are seeking refuge in Hamburg. Refugee Sisters* provides counseling to individuals regardless of their immigration status. Counseling at Refugee Sisters* is free of charge. Counseling is confidential (subject to professional confidentiality) and can be provided anonymously upon request. Counseling takes place in a safe* space. Language interpretation can be arranged upon request. The duration of the counseling session is tailored to the clients’ needs and requirements.
