RAFI-Asbl is a community-based organization working to promote the rights, dignity, inclusion, protection, and empowerment of LGB+ communities and other marginalized groups. Based in Fizi Territory, South Kivu, RAFI-Asbl provides safe spaces, psychosocial support, human rights education, community awareness, advocacy, resilience-building, youth empowerment, and referrals to appropriate local services.
Main area of intervention:
Fizi Territory, with the possibility of facilitating referrals beyond this area through trusted partners, depending on the nature of the situation and available capacity.
Support provided:
Initial listening and psychosocial support, human rights information, community support, awareness and advocacy, and referrals to appropriate local services where possible.
