Tandem is an initiative set up to help and support refugees and asylum-seekers living in Belgium. It is an initiative to get refugees, asylum-seekers and organisations learning, working and growing together. They aim to facilitate their opportunities to contribute to the community, and support the restoration of their dignity and autonomy through initially short-term volunteer placements at different organisations. Tandem also aims to bring the direct experience of individual refugees and asylum-seekers and the challenges facing them into NGOs.
