Merhaba is a social movement that aims to promote the social inclusion, empowerment, and acceptance of LGBTQIA+ individuals who belong to ethnically diverse minority groups. Its main objective is to provide a secure environment where LGBTQIA+ people with various cultural backgrounds can feel safe and supported.  

Merhaba also serves as a centre of knowledge and expertise that educates individuals and organisations on matters related to gender, sexual diversity, and interculturality.

They support LGBTQIA people with a migrant background through individual interviews also offer different activities including a cheerful gathering called ‘Merhabar’ on every last Friday of the month (except December and Ramadan) from 6:30 pm to 01:00 am at the Crazy Circle Bar (Rue du Prince Royal 11, 1050 Ixelles) along with DJ's music, dance, and free food and drink for queer migrant people. They also provide free cinema tickets for group film viewings, a safe space for discussion, boxing lessons for beginners, Queer Tribes Party and other empowering activities.
