La Plateforme Prévention Sida, created in 1999, is one of the central associations in French-speaking Belgium in the prevention of HIV and STIs and in the fight against discrimination. Its expertise in this field is recognized in Belgium and abroad (active participation in numerous networks and working groups: BREACH, AFRAVIH, ISP, HIV Plan, National HIV and STI screening strategies, EVRAS support point, EVRAS Platform, etc.). The association implements various projects aimed at different audiences, including MSM from migrant backgrounds.
The association's objective is to improve the sexual health of the various target groups through various actions such as awareness campaigns, training for professionals and intermediaries, free screening, activities, actions to fight against discrimination and support for PLHIV (People Living with HIV), free distributions of prevention tools (condoms, lubricant, brochures, etc.).
