AFE-Mali

Description of AFE

The association Femmes d'espoir Mali (AFE-MALI) is a national association of lesbian, bisexual, transgender, intersex and sex worker women. Recognised by the Malian State, it is represented in 5 regions of Mali (Koulikoro, Ségou, Sikasso, Kayes, Mopti).

AFE's vision 

To live in a Mali where all women are accepted and respected in their sexual orientation, with a recognition of gender equality.

AFE's mission:

• to fight against violence against vulnerable women (LGBTQIA+ and TS) ;
• to promote the rights and duties of vulnerable women in Mali;
• to encourage women to participate in the development of Mali.
